HK EXCITEMENT!

HEllo!

*actually this is a draft i kept for a long time..no time to post!! but had to publish it still cause it represents my maiden tot about HK*

Yes its me again..still very excited abt hK!

Yest was really exciting!! Landed on HK land at about 8pm, took the airport express to Hong Kong Station and then a cab to Bishop International Lei HOuse (thats the svc apt where my company is putting me up temporarily!!!). On the way, managed to cacth the FIREWORKS in celebration of th 10th year handover of HK to China. It was an awesome sight. While the cab was going uphill on this slope..the finale of the fireworks was presented...n the whole sky was just filled with FIREWORKS...it was amazing.........so sad though...didnt take a picture..but i guess..the beautiful sight is etched deep in my memory! Felt like HK was welcoming me! =))

Dropped my bags at the svc apt and off to have my first meal in HK!! Had it at Cui Wa a 24 hr chain with HK food! didnt have much of an appetite though!...then headed off to LKF just to soak in the 10 year anniversary celebration atmosphere!!! Pandas were see everywhere!!!....then had a drink at a quiet pub....n went home......N my FIRST nite in HK..i couldnt sleep!!!!! Just laid awake on my bed the whole nite....staring at the city....yes my bed is right in front of this long glass panel overlooking the city..Thank God for such a nice svc apartment!! Was a pleasant surprise the co. gave me free stay for a week too!!
