it is unpredictable

Yes...i was talking abt the weather in HK....tis weekend i walked outta my door...thinking it will still be cold..but wowweee!!!!! there was actually a bright sun shining!!!! (Just in case u r wondering why I didnt feel it at home....my curtains were all drawn)
YAY!! Finally the SUN IS BACK!!!!!!!! Cant imagine how much I miss the sun !!! Dont think i will complain much so about Sing's weather anymore......
Went hiking again this weekend!!! And I broke my hiking distance record....Did a total of about 23KM in abt 5.5hours!!! Phew........It was painful man! but a superb experience!!!
The reason why I did the hike was cause 4 colleagues joined a 'competition' called the 'Greenpower Hike' and they took part in the 50km trail..yes...50km!!! So basically, they started walking from 8.30am in the morning!!!! And the trail really aint easy....countless uphills downhills downhills uphills along rocky paths!!! To show our support...2 girls from my team and I went to meet them at a checkpoint at about 2 plus to hike with em and cheer em on....So we ended up hiking with them till the end....2 plus to 7 plus!! It was really fun!! Especially towards the last part where it was pitch darkness...and all we had were torches and maybe some 'star light star bright' to guide our way...haha!...Think it was the FIRST time i saw a sky full of stars in HK!!! heee hee....
And all thanks to my flat feet...my soles are seriously hurting now...but the weird thing is that I feel better wearing heels today post hike...rather than flats!

This weekend, managed to catch " Juno" in the big screens too...It was really an enjoyable show!! Worthy of its win of original screenplay in the Oscars..
http://www.foxsearchlight.com/juno/
I love the attitude of Juno (Ellen Page)...shes carefree, a tad playful but yet always true to herself and is extremely mature for her age..This movie has many scenes, through its most sardonic nonchalence form..are really touching and pulling at the heart strings. It reminds you of the simplest things in life that bring joy. The chugging-like songs in the movie makes the show all the more endearing...I teared in some scenes, that are not seemingly not "obviously touching"..but the meaning behind the words/actions are truly touching....I teared at some parts =***(
And this is my fav song of the movie "Anyone else but you"

"Funny as "Juno" is, it's scenes like these that ultimately make it so satisfying. Deceptively superficial at the outset, the movie deepens into something poignant and unexpected."

Watch it watch it!!

Caught "PS I Love you" last weekend too, starring Holly (Hilary Swank), story line from a book written by Cecilia Ahern. An awfully sweet, touching and funny movie. Whilst watching, I was totally drawn into the passion and love of the couple.. Feeling the tug at each letter sent by Gerry (Gerard Butler) to Holly. How well he understands her inside out..and how his words directed her, step by step, out of the past...to a new world, one without him...Entwined in this supposedly tragedy of a widow, are hilarious scenes which make you want to sob, laugh and cry all at the same time...

Comparing bothe movies, they are similar in a way that both shows are about how the leads (Juno and Holly) deal with unexpected happenings in their lives. However, the manner which Juno and Holly deal with the unexpected is vastly different. One goes chugging on in life in the most non-chalent, yet mature way...while the other holds on dearly to the past. . . How do you deal with unexpectancies? . . .

anyways,,,yoohooo!! Haven watched good movies in e cinema for a long time! Glad I got my shares these 2 weekends! =))

Yet another week to come!!!hope it wil be a smooooth sailing one for everyone!!!
Cant wait for the next weekend already!!!
