another week has flown past...

woah...within the blink of an eye, a week has flown past again!!
Dunno why, it seems that in this new job, time seems to pass really really really quick....
Guess it's cos I totally have NO time to slack at all in between work the whole day...it's FULL concentration from 8.30am till noon, catch a quickie lunchie and back to FULL concentration again till about 7 plus. Then wrap up the day's work a bit and get off work at 8 plus, 9 or even 10 sometimes....Cant catch my breathe sometimes. I don't even have time to read thru personal emails when Im at work, (unlike in DT last time heh heh). Whenever I see a mail from a fren, i just chuck everything into my folder called 'SMILE' for personal emails and read and reply them at the end of the day!!

Well, guess it's cos im pretty much still in the learning stages now...So need to spend a tad more time trying to understand things to get work done. Next week will be another stressful week, cos the guy whom I'm taking over all work responsibility from has officially left the firm today. Which means, I will have no one to turn to next week if I have things that I do not know how to do. But really Praise God, this guy has been really patient and I have learnt a lot from him. But the good news is, I think I'm enjoying what Im doing right now. At least much happier than before =) Ooooooh I may get a break this week on Wednesday from work, cos it's HK's Duan Wu Jie holiday and Im taking care of the HK books, so off for me too!!! (if nothign goes wrong)..N am so looking forward to meeting my dearies on Monday!! =)

Oooh...and the guy who left was very nice to buy my team a cake...from CONRAD!!!
It's so preeeety....and needless to say....totally out of the world...had an adrenalin rush when the smooothy thick chocolate slithered down my throat as I slowly savored the delicately baked creation....ooh... Had to share the picture with u guys!! Soot if u r reading this..u gotta bake this one day!! heee





























alright ENUFF ABOUT WORK!! IT's the WEEEEEEKEND!! N...START OF GSS!! (Only shopaholics and associates will know what it means) hahaa...it officially starts TODAY!! Gonna record down whatever I bot and will be buying at this GSS 2006 for the fun of it! *though it seems a little bimbotic' haha...And here are my buys for today!

hey all.......haven been blogging for a long time!....actually just a week........
dun worry im still pretty much alive and kicking......
Just too bogged down with work this week.....
so much to learn n absorb!! =(
but well, still managed to squeeze out some time to meet up with dearie joan and gang, fiona, joanne, yellowstone pals......not too bad! The worse tt could ever happen is that i have no time for anything else other than work!
had a great catch up with all of them...n well, RAINE IS GETTING MARRIED TOM!!!!!!!!!
Im so happy happy for her...Ronald is a great guy...somewhat cute (haha raines gonna faint at this), very gentlemanly, very kind heart, chrismatic, patient etc.....n most importanly, has a heart for GOd.. tts the most important 'criteria' in a future partner i would say. Someone u r able to run the race for God with, someone whos able to encourage u not just with his own wisdom, but with the word of the Lord, someone who's able to serve the Lord together with you.
Praise GOD for this lovely union........

N well, just some bimbotic blabberin, i got my very very first manicure done today!!!! Bought a dress too!...been buying more dresses recently hahaa....trying hard to be more feminine and ladylike here hahaaa....will post some pics soon!!

it's voting day....and resting day for me

one more hour to the annoucement of the voting results..
Quite exciting to watch!! Well, not really anxious to know about the FINAL results, cos I think most of us already know who the ultimate winner will be deep in our hearts .....haa..non other then our good old ***. But well, Im just excited to see how many percentage of total votes the other parties for certain consituencies managed to garner this time round after all that hot hype!
Sobs, I didn't get to vote!!!....Am under the Marine Parade GRC which is weird as I stay much nearer to Aljunied!! Aljunied GRC is much more exciting!!! heh... was somewhat the main focus of the most of the news this election. Wonder how the area allocation works... Nm, better luck 5 years later. Other than reading/watching/ hearing the news and bantering with frens on the election sagas, this election really has not much impact on my daily life. No trucks/lorries with banners and loud speakers tunneling through my area; No MPs walking around flashin their great whitie Darlie Smile shaking hands with everyone; No heart wrenching stirring encouraging patriotic rallies nearby. I missed all that actioN!!!! If not for my bad knee, I would have gone for some of the rallies just to soak in the 'election mood' and hear for myself what some parties have got to say. Well, though we can read about all these on the papers, I guess the media has been underplaying on some of the content of rallies and speeches made by certain parties which is kinda sad....But well, this is Politics. Sometimes, I really feel bad for some of the opposition parties. Ain't easy leading a life as a member of the opposition parties. But I really truly admire these people for their guts and passion and energy and efforts. I can never do that. I'm lazy. Will just choose the easy way out and live life simply as it is and stand aside and sing "Stand Up for Singapore, Do the best you can". heh. Well, but really glad that there are more contestors this time round!!! More contestors = Less complacency = More carrots = Better life? well, I guess its also important to realise the credibility of the dangling carrots too, whether they are sincere or not or are just simply trying to win votes by taking advantage of the soft spots of the voters. Also on a macroeconomic level, are they able to bring Singapore to the next level? Upgrading lifts and all are but on a micro level. But all said, having opposition as competitors in the election is great. Guess the basics of economics do come into play in politics too. Competition is always healthy for 'consumers', competition between comparable quality candidates that is.

and today is one of the rare Saturdays that I'm at home the whole day...All thanks to the fall....Eeekss..but thinking back, really Thank God that the injury is not as bad as it could have been much much worse considering how I fell....My nose could have been broken, or my cheeks distorted or.......ok shall not let my imagination continue to run wild! N I think I'm a little phobic abt taking buses now hahaa!! Haven't taken a bus since the fall!! THhnks Dad and Mum and fetching me to and fro from work this week. =) But no worries all, my knee is much better now, though still can't really walk the stairs properly. Thank you all for your care and concern and love and prayers....=) The Lord will heal me completely!
Spent the day lazing around, surfing, watching tv, eating, snacking, reading and had a great 3-4 hours with Soot, Jess and Pin sin! Thanks for coming to visit me! =) Made my day really!
But felt very =( that I couldn't go support Lydia in her first public gig as part of one sixth hah hah!! But I know she will stage an awesome performance as always especially with Na Xiaodi and Leb's head voice screams!!!! hahaa! So exciting!!!!!!!!!!Continue to JIAYOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will always be behind you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everytime when people ask me what's the most embarrasing moment in my life, i cant find an answer. But today, I can............I actually fell out of the bus. How glam is that?.....sobs....
